Successful Interconnection Steps for YEC Members and Solar Companies

To move forward with installing solar at your location, please review the steps below and contact Brent Clinton at Brent.Clinton@yorkelectric.net to receive the interconnection packet for small generation. The packet must be completed, reviewed and approved before YEC will continue with connecting your solar system to our distribution system. We are happy to walk you through the process, one step at a time, to guarantee a simple process for installing renewable energy.

Permission to interconnect is not granted until an Interconnection Agreement has been completed between the YEC and the Member.

Please follow these steps to insure a successful interconnection for parallel interconnection of non-utility owned, single phase, small generation systems, which are rated at 20 kW or less for residential members and 100 kW or less for nonresidential members.
