The pur­pose of this pro­gram is to pro­vide dis­count­ed ener­gy audits to help iden­ti­fy projects that reduce your ener­gy costs through effi­cien­cy and demand reduc­tion. Once com­plete, a rep­re­sen­ta­tive from your elec­tric coop­er­a­tive will dis­cuss the iden­ti­fied oppor­tu­ni­ties with you. Your ener­gy audit can be used to apply for USDA grants and incen­tives through sev­er­al pro­grams includ­ing the Rur­al Ener­gy for Amer­i­ca Pro­gram (REAP). Please note that you are required to pay for 25% of the cost of your ener­gy audit. The cost of your ener­gy audit will depend on the size and com­plex­i­ty of your oper­a­tion and will be deter­mined dur­ing a fol­low-up call once you have sub­mit­ted this appli­ca­tion.
