Trimming schedule set through March 2016: India Hook Area

During winter storms, the importance of right-of-way maintenance (ROW) is made clear. The maintenance process will not eliminate outages altogether, but it certainly does minimize the damage received. YEC must trim trees, branches and other growth away from its power lines in order to prevent outages. ROW maintenance is a crucial part of providing reliable service and YEC appreciates your continued support.

During the first quarter, contract crews from Asplundh Tree Expert Company will be working in the India Hook and Tirzah substation areas in the western side of Rock Hill. You may see crews trimming and clearing along Highway 5 as well as on Mt. Gallant, Twin Lakes, Museum, Homestead, Nalley, Tirzah, Holland and Shiloh roads and throughout the surrounding areas.
