As an elec­tric coop­er­a­tive mem­ber, you most like­ly have received Green Pow­er newslet­ters (like this one) along with oth­er brochures and mar­ket­ing mate­ri­als men­tion­ing that our Green Pow­er Pro­gram is Green‑e Ener­gy cer­ti­fied by the non­prof­it Cen­ter for Resources Solu­tions in San Fran­cis­co, Cal­i­for­nia.

To ful­fill one of the many dis­clo­sure require­ments of the Green‑e Ener­gy cer­ti­fi­ca­tion, we are post­ing the 2017 Prospec­tive Prod­uct Con­tent Label (pic­tured below). The label lists infor­ma­tion about the sup­ply your coop­er­a­tive is adver­tis­ing to mem­bers and our plans in pro­vid­ing the sup­ply dur­ing a spe­cif­ic year.

As shown here, Green Pow­er’s sup­ply con­sists of land­fill methane gas, solar and wind—all locat­ed in the state of South Car­oli­na.
