Darlington Raceway Earns its Green Stripe

When it comes to renew­able ener­gy, the Dar­ling­ton Race­way earned its “Green Stripe” this past Labor Day week­end, once again pow­er­ing its major NASCAR events with 100 per­cent renew­able ener­gy sup­plied by Green Pow­er. Dis­trib­uted by Pee Dee Elec­tric Coop­er­a­tive and gen­er­at­ed by state-owned util­i­ty San­tee Coop­er, Green Pow­er fueled all of the elec­tri­cal needs of the NASCAR XFINITY Series Sport Clips Hair­cuts VFW 200 and the Mon­ster Ener­gy NASCAR Cup Series Bojan­gles’ South­ern 500.
