Darlington Raceway Earns its Green Stripe

When it comes to renewable energy, the Darlington Raceway earned its "Green Stripe" this past Labor Day weekend, once again powering its major NASCAR events with 100 percent renewable energy supplied by Green Power. Distributed by Pee Dee Electric Cooperative and generated by state-owned utility Santee Cooper, Green Power fueled all of the electrical needs of the NASCAR XFINITY Series Sport Clips Haircuts VFW 200 and the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Bojangles' Southern 500.
