San­tee Coop­er oper­ates a mix of gen­er­a­tors that uti­lize dif­fer­ent fuel sources to pro­vide the pow­er cus­tomers need. Each year, San­tee Coop­er’s fuel mix changes due to weath­er, fuel costs, sys­tem load require­ments and new gen­er­a­tion sta­tions brought on line. San­tee Coop­er’s fuel mix includes coal, nuclear, hydro, nat­ur­al gas, oil and methane gas.
