These Rules and Reg­u­la­tions are to serve as a guide to the Mem­ber­ship of York Elec­tric Coop­er­a­tive, Inc. regard­ing the sup­ply and receiv­ing of elec­tric ser­vices. This doc­u­ment serves as part of the ser­vice agree­ment between the Coop­er­a­tive and any cur­rent or prospec­tive mem­bers and has been writ­ten to uphold the stan­dards and By Laws set forth by the Board of Trustees. This doc­u­ment does not con­sti­tute a con­tract between York Elec­tric Coop­er­a­tive and the mem­ber­ship, but rather should be used as an expla­na­tion to bet­ter inter­pret the appli­ca­tion of mem­ber­ship, dis­tri­b­u­tion of elec­tric­i­ty, ser­vices offered to the mem­ber­ship, and require­ments for pow­er from the Coop­er­a­tive.
