CEO: Outage Message

We would like to take this time to tell you all “thank you.” Thank you for your patience. Thank you for your sup­port. Thank you for your mem­ber­ship. Our employ­ees worked tire­less­ly for you to repair dam­ages from the storm that occurred ear­ly Mon­day morn­ing. Out­ages reached over a large por­tion of our ser­vice ter­ri­to­ry, leav­ing near­ly 25% of our mem­bers with­out pow­er. With the help of two neigh­bor­ing coop­er­a­tives, we were able to restore all ser­vices by the end of busi­ness on Tues­day, with over 11,000 of the ini­tial 14,000 out­ages repaired on Mon­day. We would like to send a spe­cial thanks to crews from Hor­ry Elec­tric Coop­er­a­tive and Union Pow­er Elec­tric Coop­er­a­tive for their help. Although this was not an imme­di­ate fix, we are grate­ful for your under­stand­ing and con­tin­ued kind­ness towards our ded­i­cat­ed employ­ees. Don’t for­get to fol­low us on social media for the most up-to-date infor­ma­tion dur­ing out­age sit­u­a­tions.
