We would like to take this time to tell you all “thank you.” Thank you for your patience. Thank you for your support. Thank you for your membership. Our employees worked tirelessly for you to repair damages from the storm that occurred early Monday morning. Outages reached over a large portion of our service territory, leaving nearly 25% of our members without power. With the help of two neighboring cooperatives, we were able to restore all services by the end of business on Tuesday, with over 11,000 of the initial 14,000 outages repaired on Monday. We would like to send a special thanks to crews from Horry Electric Cooperative and Union Power Electric Cooperative for their help. Although this was not an immediate fix, we are grateful for your understanding and continued kindness towards our dedicated employees.
